Every day, millions of people need to convert, edit, or transform PDF files. Most existing tools either cost money, require registration, or - worst of all - upload your sensitive documents to remote servers.
PDFBase was created to solve this problem. We built a complete suite of PDF tools that process everything directly in your browser using WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never leave your device.

How It Works
You select a file
When you choose a file, it’s loaded directly into your browser’s memory. The file never leaves your device.
Processing happens locally
Using JavaScript libraries running in your browser, we convert, edit, or transform your file without sending its bytes to PDFBase. The page still makes ordinary requests for code, assets, and anonymous usage analytics.
You download the result
The processed file is generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. It stays in browser memory until you reset the tool or leave the page; we never receive or store it on our servers.
Privacy Guarantee
Your files are processed on your device and are never uploaded to PDFBase. We never receive your files or passwords and do not log what your documents contain. We use anonymous page-view and tool-usage analytics, but never track conversion content or file names.
